Samsung launches WindFree Cassette ACs in India, price starts at Rs 65,000

Samsung launched its latest Made-in-India Smart WindFree Cassette Air Conditioners, combining intelligent connectivity, energy efficiency, and silent comfort. Designed specifically for Indian conditions, the new range is available starting today through Samsung’s authorized commercial AC partners across the country.

The new WindFree Cassette ACs feature built-in Wi-Fi for seamless integration with the Samsung SmartThings app, allowing users to control temperature, humidity, and airflow remotely via smartphone or voice assistants like Bixby, Alexa, and Google Assistant . Key smart features include:

• Welcome Cooling Mode: Automatically cools your space before arrival using GPS tracking
• Good Sleep Mode: Adapts to sleep cycles while saving up to 48% energy
• Comfort Humidity Control: Maintains ideal indoor conditions with up to 19% energy savings in dry mode

The ACs use R32 refrigerant, known for its low global warming potential, and offer an optional PM 1.0 filtration system to capture ultra-fine dust particles, promoting cleaner indoor air. Samsung’s WindFree™ Cooling technology gently disperses air through thousands of micro-holes, eliminating cold drafts and creating a quiet “Still Air” environment—ideal for offices, hospitality venues, and wellness spaces.
