- Harvest Festival is currently active in the game, and it has led to the debut of Dipplin and Hydrapple alongside the new Syrupy Apples mechanic. During the period of this event, trainers can enjoy double Candy when catching with Pinap or Silver Pinap Berries. Added to this, there are boosted Shiny odds for Pumpkaboo and Smoliv, and increased spawn rates at Mossy Lure-boosted PokeStops.
- To celebrate the launch of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Pokemon Go is set to offer a special event. It features Timed Research with starter Pokemon like Chikorita, Totodile, and Tepig.
