ICAR UG counselling 2025: Registration through CUET begins today at icarcounselling.com; check steps to apply here

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research ( ICAR ) will begin the online registration for ICAR Undergraduate (UG) counselling 2025 from 2 PM today, October 14, 2025. Candidates who have qualified the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate ( CUET UG 2025 ) can apply for admission to UG programmes in agriculture and allied disciplines through the official counselling portal at icarcounselling.com

As per the official counselling schedule, the last date for registration, fee payment, and choice filling is October 17, 2025. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on October 21, 2025.

ICAR UG counselling 2025 : Seat distribution and participating universities
The ICAR counselling process is being conducted to fill 20% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in undergraduate programmes offered at agricultural universities. Additionally, 100% of the seats at ICAR-NDRI Karnal, ICAR-IARI Delhi, RLBCAU Jhansi, and RPCAU Pusa will also be filled through CUET UG instead of the earlier All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) UG.

Log in using your CUET UG 2025 credentials such as application number and password.

Pay the counselling fee.

Fill and lock your choice of universities and programmes before the deadline.

Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

ICAR UG counselling 2025: Application fee
At the time of registration, candidates will also need to submit a declaration and undertaking and pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 500 through debit card, credit card, net banking, or Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

ICAR UG counselling 2025: Documents required
Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready for uploading and verification:

• Proof of date of birth (High School/Class X/Matriculation Certificate or separate DOB certificate)
• Class X and Class XII mark sheets or grade reports
• Transfer Certificate
• CUET UG 2025 admit card issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA)
• Confirmation page of CUET UG application form submitted to NTA
• ICAR rank card
• ICAR allotment letter
• Provisional admission letter from the allotted university
• Passport-size colour photographs (same as uploaded in CUET application)
• Aadhaar Card /Aadhaar Enrolment ID / Passport / Ration Card / Bank Passbook / any other valid government ID proof
• Domicile certificate
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS) issued as per Central Government norms
• Medical certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), issued by a government hospital specifying the type and degree of disability
