The traditional Lakkhi Kartik Purnima Ganga Snan Mela has begun in Anupshahr, Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh. Due to the Kartik Purnima Ganga Snan, all government and private schools in the Anupshahr area have been declared closed from November 3rd to November 6th, 2025.
The main bathing ceremony of the fair will take place from midnight on November 3rd to Wednesday, November 5th. This fair is not only a symbol of religious faith but is also considered an important part of the region's cultural and social identity.
This decision was taken keeping in mind safety and traffic management due to the large influx of devotees and tourists. This order was issued by the Basic Education Officer, Bulandshahr.
